Next week is our club's official visitation by District Govenor ROLAND "BUCKY" BUCHHOLZ. Lion BUCKY is from Monticello. Let's have a real good turnout next week.

Lion President JERRY HODDINOTT presided at this week's meeting. RAY THIMKE again led the song, and JIM BRADLEY gave the invocation. There were no guests. The next Board meeting is in two weeks on April 13th at Fitzgerald's, 3112 West Beltline Highway, Middleton.

Rose Day Co-chairman ROSS ROYSTER made the rounds today checking with everyone present if their sales projections were higher or lower than estimated. We have to order the flowers pretty soon, and ROSS has to have some idea how many of which kind to order. If you were not at today's meeting, please call ROSS at 244-0444 if your projections had changed.

President JERRY is the delivery chairman/recruiter for Rose Day help. He says HELP! HELP! So far we don't have anywhere nearly enough delivery persons. It is best to have two people deliver to the U.W. area, and also downtown because of the problem with parking. So if you have a partner to deliver please sign up for this, or deliver by yourself. It, of course, is best if you can deliver your own sales, but as this is sometimes impossible we need help. What you could do, is ask for a route for delivery that is on your way to work. GREG MILLER can help with that. Call President JERRY at 266-9764 if you can help out, at least a half day, a whole day is better.

Also, if you still have a delivery map from last year, please return it to GREG MILLER.

Our sympathy goes out to Lion JODI BURMESTER. Her father passed away recently, we have no details on visitation or the funeral.

JOHN JENSON requests that you return the ballot for election of next year's officers as soon as possible. If you don't mail them, bring them to the next meeting.

GLEN HOLMES reminds bowlers signed up for the Lions' State Bowling Tournament that it is coming up soon. April 17th and 18th, in Chippewa Falls. Needed are cars and drivers. Contact GLENN at 266-5674.
