OUR NEXT MEETING will be May 23. This will be a hybrid meeting, on Google Meet http://bitly.com/MCLC-meeting, AND live-in-person at Festival Foods. Show up or tune in at 11:30am for greetings and socializing (and fine-tuning your Meet reception). The meeting starts promptly at noon, so don't be late. This is a Program meeting, and it should be interesting. Wendy Dwyer will be introducing her Random Tandem program, designed to offer tandem bicycle riding to the visually impaired. This could be a wonderful service for MCLC to offer.

Our last meeting was supposed to be a Business meeting, but once again, we did not have a quorum of Board members present, resulting in an information-only meeting. If you have a solution to this continuing problem, we're open to discussion.

After the TailTwister extortion, PHIL reported that he was investigating the new AmFam building as a potential meeting spot. There was a brief recap of our flower sale, a reminder to sign up for the Brat Fest opportunity, and a call for a Lion interested in filling the soon-to-be-vacant Membership Director position.

Did you miss our Centennial Dinner celebration? You should have been there. We now know what "where in the hell is Bird Island" means. It was a remarkable and enjoyable event. Kudos to the planners!
