OUR NEXT MEETING will be February 22. This will be a virtual-only meeting, due to the overlap with Festival Foods corporate schedule. And, it will be on Google Meet http://bitly.com/MCLC-meeting, (notice the lower-case m in the link). Google Meet is very similar to Zoom, but with several improvements. Tune in at 11:30am for greetings and some socializing, the meeting starts at 12:00. Our guest will be 1st Vice District Governor Al Johnson, and he will share information on a number of topics.

Our last meeting, a business meeting, was completely filled with a discussion about our financial plans for our centennial year. JOHN presented a proposed 2021-2022 Foundation budget, with a number of suggestions for donations. His suggestions included some major increases for several donations because of our soon-to-be Centennial status. You should review the proposed budget on our web site. We did not reach a resolution, so the discussion will undoubtedly continue at our next business meeting on March 8.

We're repeating the following information, it's important. The District Convention is Friday and Saturday, March 11 and 12, at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells. You can find information on registering on the District web site. Click on the Convention button on the menu at the top of the page. Every Lion should attend a District Convention, you'll learn a lot about being a Lion.
