Next Meeting - March 21, 2017 , Tuesday noon, at the Coliseum Bar & Restaurant, as usual. Our Program Meeting for the month, and CRAIG BUTLER is working on a couple of informative possibilities. Wiith CRAIG'S programs, you usually learn something, so come tomorrow to see what gap in your knowledge gets filled this time.

Last meeting was long on fellowship and short on business and attendance. We leared that LINDA still has a representative menu of Holiday Treats available, hopefully a broad assortment but not deep. The editor scored some Sea Salt Caramels, and observed offerings of nuts, trail mix and caramels. Bring an extra few bucks, or prospect list, to this next meeting and let's get LINDA's car emptied out. Otherwise we may have to buy a magnetic “Linda's Treat Wagon” sign and a food cart license for her. Might be one way to find parking on the Square (to deliver roses, of course.)

Which brings up another subject. We are indeed selling roses again, for delivery April 24. Prices and offerings are pretty much the same as last year, except that we've beefed up the content of the Mixed Spring Flowers bouquet. For the complete list of available product, see the web site.

Which brings up a subsubject of the subject. Early cave paintings when deciphered by experts, were found to contain the admonition “Fill Out The Flower Sale Form Completely.” Slightly later paintings included “GIVE FULL DIRECTIONS FOR DELIVERY!” These are still pertinent, even in the days of GPS.

There is a NESCO festival of some sort on March 24, and we usually do adult vision screening for those. SCOTT GROVER always seems familiar with this one, so he's probably your best bet for info on this one. Trained screeners are a requirement, but there are always greeting, crowd management and gofer functions to be performed, so we can assume that volunteers (not necessarily trained, but eager) are needed. Again. And a children's vision screening is planned for April 5.

The last meeting sputtered to a close, decided by whatever the opposite of “acclamation” is.
